It feels weird to have been away from all of you for so long, so I thought I'd post.

I hope you are enjoying your official Spring Break and spending quality time with your families. Are you also getting some physical activity in each day? How about reading something that makes you happy?

Or, is it just quality time with your controllers? :)

Just want you to know that I'm thinking about you.

    Thanks Ms.Kassam Its me Jaeden btw My mom made me watch the Last samurai and now I have to write a comparative analysis with my Japan novel after Spring break. I miss School so much.

      Hi Jaeden! Thanks for writing - it makes me feel connected to you guys :) Lol, go mom! We were actually going to watch that film when Drumheller got cancelled, but then so much more got cancelled, as you know. I miss school too...even though it's still Spring Break.

    Hello Ms. Kassam,

    It is me, Vivek. I had been looking at the blog every few days to see if there were any updates on the situation or updates on school work. On the subject of school work, I would like to know if you are planning to give us any assignments over the extended break, because I know that my friends at a different school got online homework tasks to complete through Google Drive. My current activities that I do as a substitute for school are watching documentaries and doing math worksheets as well as free writing when I do so. I also stay updated on the news. Those great times we had in class, I still miss them. I hope that you are doing well under the current circumstances.

      It's great to hear from you. These sound like good endeavours if it helps to keep you occupied. This was Spring Break, so the hope was you all would enjoy some time to relax and spend time with family - because what else was there to do? Lol. I hope you've enjoyed many indoor walks and talks. As you may have seen, your parents received an email from CBE explaining what next week will look like. Let's keep our fingers crossed that we can all embrace our new learning curve easily - myself included! :) Enjoy the rest of the weekend, and we will talk soon.

Short Week! And a dance and Science Olympics mixed in. Quick update: We watched part one of a documentary and we did a Close Reading Activity. There is no school tomorrow, Friday, or Monday - 5 days off!
